All rooms are en suite with direct dial telephone, colour television, radio/clock/alarm, tea/coffee making facilities and electric blanket. Electric blankets and Duvets are available on request.
Christmas & New Year 2007 - 2008
Enjoy a traditional Christmas house party in the comfort and warmth of Graythwaite Manor. You will be free to relax, enjoy the company or do your own thing and will not be organized into any "activities"!
Festivities include a welcome cocktail party on Christmas and New Years Eve. Gala Dinner on Christmas and New Years Eve and a Buffet Lunch on on Christmas Day.
Musical entertainment of a light nature will be arranged.
Although many guests favour dinner jackets, formal dress is optional.
Christmas Rates 2007
23rd December to 27th December inclusive
Stay for a minimum of any FOUR nights in the Christmas period. Summer rates apply thereafter to New Year. Rates include all meals, festivities and VAT.

New Years Eve Rates 2007-2008
The New Year period covers 3 nights from
30th December 2007 to 2nd January 2008 inclusive.
Stay for a minimum of any THREE nights in this period.
Additional nights following this period are at the appropriate winter break rate.

We regret that during the above periods it will not be possible to request sole occupancy of a twin/double room.
Reservations can be taken, subject to availability. A deposit of £150.00 per room will be payable to confirm the booking. A full refund will be made if cancelled before 31st October. Cancellations from 1st November to 30th November will incur a £50 per room charge, after 30th November the full deposit will be forfeit.
Children
We welcome children to stay. Extra beds are available for a few rooms for children up to 12 years of age, £20 per night including breakfast. Children requiring cots; £12.50 per night including breakfast. Children occupying a room of their own; up to 50% off the standard rate subject to availability and demand. On request we can provide high chairs, bunk beds and small cots.
Lunch
Served every day Monday to Saturday in our lounge, or Dining Room. From soup and sandwiches to three course meals.
Sunday Lunch
Four course Table d'hotê luncheon from £15.00 per person.
General Booking Conditions
Reservations: Offers of accommodation are made according to availability at the time of enquiry. Reservations must be confirmed in writing or by credit card over the phone within 4 working days including a deposit of £50.00 per room which will be credited to the guests account.
Deposits & Cancellations: Full deposits will only be refunded for cancellations received not less than 28 days prior to the arrival date. For cancellations from 14 - 28 days prior to arrival £25.00 will be charged, the full deposit of £50 will be forfeit for cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival.
Payment: May be made by cheque with a bankers card, cash, Switch, Visa, Master Card or American Express.
Smoking: Graythwaite Manor operates a no smoking policy in the dining room and main lounge, however guests are requested to use their judgment when smoking within the proximity of elderly guests who may suffer breathing problems.
Dogs: We regret that we are unable to accept dogs - except guide dogs and hearing dogs. We are able to recommend various dog boarding kennels within the immediate area.
